I’m feeling liberated, and ready to enjoy some of the activities
that I probably used to take for granted, and now we have more freedom, we can
get back out and enjoy our communities. These times may still be challenging so
here’s a little game plan I’ve put together to help promote resilience and keep
you on track so you can thrive everyday.

How to thrive everyday:

Focus on self development

  • Look for new opportunities, persevere, adapt and stay
    open to new possibilities;
  • Practice spiritual growth, look inward, and build self
    awareness. 
  • Have a sense of your own personal strengths and tap
    into them, as you work toward creating a life that feels meaningful.
  • Accept stress and negative feelings, as part of what
    may turn up, and continue to move toward what brings you purpose and meaning.
  • Look for new learning that will enable you to grow and
    flourish through times of adversity and challenge,

Build relationships

  • Build close relationships with others, and find ways
    to support those who need it;
  • Show compassion for yourself and others, nurture,
    encourage, and lower your expectations during times of challenge.
  • Create your own support network, ask for help when you
    need it, and show yourself kindness and patience, especially if it takes time
    to bounce back up again.

Practice Gratitude

  • Find what brings you joy, bring it into your everyday,
    and focus on it during the tough times.
  • Find a greater appreciation for life, and make a habit
    of practicing gratitude, looking for all the
    things in your life that you can be grateful for, no matter how trivial, and
    consciously give thanks.

These times of intense change are
challenging but also present us with an opportunity for renewal, and with a game plan such as this we can use all our experiences
in a positive way toward creating our future.
