Usually midyear is a chance
to pause and review, and to consider the intentions or goals you set out for. It’s
been a disruptive and demanding time with financial uncertainty, and ongoing change
taxing our emotional and mental states and frustratingly goals and dreams may have
slipped out of our grasp.
These three powerful and
resilient actions will open you up to new opportunities, uplift you and help
you feel more positive and able to take action again.
Review: What
did you set out to do and what did you hope for this year? Ask this, with a large
serving of compassion and celebrate your progress or achievements
– however small, acknowledge how well you’ve done to get through these challenging
times.
Reassess:
Where are you now, and what’s most important? Check in with what you really
want in your life and create a picture in your mind of what it will look like
and feel like. The best visions are formed from the heart and this will help
draw you forward.
Realign: From
this current reality now’s the time to reset your focus with goals or intentions
that align with where you are and where you want to go. Moving toward your vision
and aligning with your values will empower you to take action, and to start
making progress again.
